Client: Zenviron

Value: $10M

Completed: 2023

Project Description:

JLE is proud to have completed the comprehensive construction of two 330kV/33kV substation switchyards at Rye Park Wind Farm, reinforcing our commitment to advancing renewable energy infrastructure. This project encompassed a full range of civil, structural, and electrical components, crucial for supporting sustainable energy generation.

Our scope of work included detailed excavation of foundations, installation of conduits and pits, subsoil drainage, and an earthing grid. We also supplied and fixed formwork and reinforcing steel, manufactured and erected precast concrete blast walls, and installed structural steel for high-voltage equipment and busbar structures.

In addition, JLE supplied and installed the 330kV busbar assembly and pre-fabricated switchrooms. We successfully terminated 33kV cables and 330kV overhead conductors, along with control and instrumentation cabling. Our team erected 330kV circuit breakers, disconnectors, and instrument transformers, as well as 33kV circuit breakers, disconnectors, capacitor banks, and harmonic filters. Ancillary installations included substation fencing, auxiliary transformers, generators, and lighting.

The project concluded with comprehensive testing and commissioning of the substation and all associated equipment, ensuring seamless and reliable operation. This meticulous approach highlights JLE's dedication to excellence in delivering high-quality infrastructure that supports the renewable energy sector.
